plausj
plausj is library implementing several functional check digit calculation algorithms. With check digits it is possible to prevalidate some business keys for there formal correctness. Although there is no guarantee that a record for a key exists, check digits prevent users from typos or simple fake entries.
Beneath my wish to work with miscellaneous algorithms is to provide a software module that is not yet available to open-source projects.
As licence I choosed the Apache licence, 2.0, . This licence is an Open Source Initiative (OSI) approved open-source licence and compatible to all important open-source licences. Futher the Apache licence makes the use of the code in commercial projects simple. One must only mention that the software is used in the product.
Currently a bank account check for german banks is near to production grade. With that check it is possible to check the validity of an account code in respect to its bank code.

ninan.info is one more website ran by me. I use that site as publication platform. Next to my blog I publish book reviews and documentation there.
ninan is the pseudonym I choosed several years ago.
ninan.info is currently down since it undergoes a full redesign. There is no start date right now.
ninan.info is and will be in german only (at least for the next time) since I am not able to translate all that stuff.
